Warehouse & Yard Operative – Chippenham

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse & Yard Operative to join our well-established client based in Chippenham on a full-time ongoing basis.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Warehouse Operative, Yard Operative or General Operative

Rates of Pay:

• £12.71 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 09:00 – 17:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Warehouse & Yard Operative are:

• Supporting warehouse processes within a busy working environment
• Moving materials and stock around the warehouse and yard
• Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
• Preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Using a jet wash to clean equipment and yard areas
• Completing general warehouse and yard duties
• Carrying out stock checks and basic documentation
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Warehouse & Yard Operative, you will need:

• Previous experience within warehousing, manufacturing or yard environments
• Confidence using tools and related equipment
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times
• Good communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail

Training:

• Full training provided
• Ongoing development and support throughout your assignment
