Warehouse Porter – Hinckley

 

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Porter to join our well-established client based in Hinckley.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity offering stable weekday hours, weekly pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression within a busy warehouse environment.

 

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Warehouse Operative, Logistics Operative or General Operative.

 

Rates of Pay:

 

• £15.83 per hour between 05:00 and 06:00
• £12.71 per hour between 06:00 and 09:00
• Weekly pay

 

Shift Pattern:

 

• Monday to Friday
• 05:00 – 09:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

 

Your duties as a Warehouse Porter are:

 

• Handling goods safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse
• Cleaning totes ready for operational use
• Wrapping pallets securely for storage and dispatch
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the warehouse
• Supporting inventory and stock control processes
• Moving products safely both inside and outside the warehouse
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

 

Essential Skills:

 

To be successful as a Warehouse Porter, you will need:

 

• A basic level of spoken and written English
• A reliable and punctual attitude
• Good communication skills
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A willingness to undertake manual handling duties
• The ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• A positive and flexible approach to work
