Van Driver – Broxburn

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Van Drivers to work with a variety of clients across Broxburn and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, flexible working opportunities, and access to a variety of temporary, ongoing and ad-hoc assignments across multiple industry sectors.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Van Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, Courier Driver, Logistics Driver or Driver/Porter.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.50 per hour
• Weekly pay

Shift Pattern:

• Various shift patterns available
• Monday to Friday and weekend opportunities may be available depending on the client
• Temporary, ongoing and ad-hoc assignments available

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Van Driver are:

• Completing multi-drop deliveries
• Loading and unloading goods
• Delivering to business and residential customers
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Following planned routes and delivery schedules
• Providing excellent customer service
• Undertaking general driving and delivery duties as required
• Ensuring compliance with road traffic regulations and company procedures

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need:

• A full UK Category B driving licence
• Previous van driving experience preferred
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• Flexibility regarding working hours and duties
• The ability to load and unload goods safely
• The ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively

Training:

• Full paid induction provided where required
• Ongoing support from the People Solutions team
• Client-specific training provided where applicable
