PREPARATION COORDINATOR – BURY – £32,500 + UP TO £3,000 BONUS/PERMANENT POSITION

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Preparation Coordinator to join our well-established automotive client based in Bury on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy automotive operation in a role focused on coordinating vehicle preparation and helping to ensure vehicles progress efficiently through the preparation process.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Vehicle Preparation Coordinator, Fleet Coordinator or Operations Coordinator.

Rates of Pay:

  • £32,500 per annum
  • Up to £3,000 performance-related bonus
  • Potential earnings of up to £35,500 per annum

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am to 5:00pm
  • Permanent position

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Preparation Coordinator are:

  • Coordinating vehicle preparation activities
  • Monitoring vehicles as they progress through the preparation process
  • Liaising with workshop and preparation teams
  • Helping to prioritise workloads and ensure vehicles are completed efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate information relating to vehicle progress
  • Identifying delays or issues and communicating these to the relevant teams
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of vehicle preparation operations
  • Working to agreed quality and operational standards

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Preparation Coordinator, you will need:

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good administrative and IT skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different teams and departments
  • A proactive approach to problem solving
  • Automotive, workshop, vehicle preparation or similar experience would be advantageous
