HGV Class 2 Dray Driver – Liverpool

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Dray Driver to join our well-established client based in Liverpool, Merseyside.

This is an excellent opportunity offering competitive rates of pay, Monday to Friday working, and the potential to secure a permanent position with a leading company in the industry.

This would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Dray Driver or Category C Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £17.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

Your shift pattern as an HGV Class 2 Dray Driver will be:

• Monday to Friday
• Start time: 6:00am

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Dray Driver are:

• Completing deliveries to pubs, restaurants, and licensed premises across the North West
• Carrying out between 20 and 30 deliveries per shift
• Safely loading and unloading products at customer locations
• Driving a Category C vehicle safely and efficiently at all times
• Completing all relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Providing excellent customer service when delivering to clients
• Following all company policies and health and safety procedures
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Dray Driver, you will need:

• A minimum of six months’ experience driving Category C vehicles
• A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
• A valid CPC Qualification Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• No DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99 endorsement codes
• No major endorsement codes
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to undertake the physical aspects of dray delivery work
• A professional and reliable approach to work

Training:

• First-day driving assessment
• Additional training provided where required
• Ongoing industry-related training and support
