Food Production Operative – Sheffield (S9)

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Food Production Operative to join our well-established client based in Sheffield (S9). This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Production Operative, Factory Operative or Food Manufacturing Operative.

 A full UK driving licence is required for this role, as you may occasionally be asked to assist with deliveries.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.00 – £14.00 per hour

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 – 16:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Food Production Operative are:

• Working on a fast-paced production line
• Mixing ingredients in line with production requirements
• Packing products to customer specifications
• Carrying out basic quality checks
• Following strict health and safety procedures
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene
• Ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Assisting with deliveries when required

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Food Production Operative, you will need:

• A full UK Category B Driving Licence
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability
• Ability to work with meat products
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures

Training:

• Full training provided
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
