FLT Counterbalance Driver / Yard Operative – Uddingston

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver / Yard Operative to join our well-established client based in Uddingston.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent Monday to Friday working hours, no weekend work, immediate starts and the opportunity to secure permanent employment.

£13.00 Per Hour | Monday to Friday | No Weekends | Immediate Starts | Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

This position would suit applicants who have previously worked as an FLT Counterbalance Driver, Forklift Truck Driver, Counterbalance Forklift Operator or Yard Operative with forklift experience.

Shifts

 • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
 • Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
 • No weekend working
 • Immediate starts available

Rates of Pay

 • £13.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

 • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
 • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
 • Moving and organising stock within the yard
 • Picking and preparing orders
 • Carrying out general yard duties
 • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Essential Skills

 • Valid RTITB Counterbalance Forklift Licence
 • Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience
 • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
 • Reliable and hardworking attitude
 • Good communication and teamwork skills

Desirable Experience

 • Previous experience working in a yard environment
 • Experience loading and unloading delivery vehicles

Training Provided

 • Site induction provided
 • Ongoing training and support throughout your assignment
