FLT Bendi Truck Driver – Middleton

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Bendi Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Middleton. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, stable weekday hours, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an FLT Operator, FLT Driver or Forklift Truck Operative.

Shifts: Monday to Thursday: 7.45am – 4.30pm & Friday: 7.45am – 3.15pm

Rates of Pay: £14.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As an FLT Bendi Truck Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  •  Operating a Bendi Truck safely and efficiently
  •  Carrying out pre-use inspections and reporting any faults
  •  Receiving goods into the warehouse and stowing pallets
  •  Checking quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
  •  Unpacking and storing incoming deliveries
  •  Organising stock for dispatch
  •  Moving goods around the warehouse as required
  •  Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills

As an FLT Bendi Truck Driver, you will need:

  •  Valid Bendi Truck licence (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)
  •  Proven experience operating a Bendi Truck (6months-1 year minimum)
  •  Good communication skills and ability to multi-task
  •  Strong spatial awareness
  •  High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  •  Good organisational skills
  •  Reliable and self-motivated attitude
  •  Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks
  •  Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable Experience

  •  Previous warehouse experience

Training Provided

  •  Full training provided
  •  Assessment required prior to start
  •  Ongoing support throughout your assignment
