Looking for a full-time production role with consistent hours, weekly pay and your weekends free?

Join a busy engine department where you will be part of a hands-on team, working with engine components, assembling parts and supporting daily warehouse and production operations.

This position would suit applicants who have previously worked as an Engine Assembler, Engine Stripper, Engine Specialist, Engine Breaker or Production Operative with engine parts experience.

Shifts

 • Monday to Friday
 • 6:00am – 4:30pm
 • No weekend working
 • Full-time hours

Rates of Pay

 • £12.71 per hour
 • Weekly pay

Day-to-Day Duties

As an Engine Assembler, your duties will include:

 • Working within a busy engine department
 • Unloading containers and handling incoming deliveries
 • Receiving and checking engine parts
 • Assembling engine components and parts
 • Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting, including two-person lifts where required
 • Moving, storing and organising warehouse stock
 • Ensuring engine parts are handled and stored safely
 • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
 • Following all site health and safety procedures

Essential Skills

To be successful as an Engine Assembler, you will need:

 • Previous experience working with engine parts or components
 • Ability to carry out physically demanding production and warehouse duties safely
 • Basic spoken and written English
 • Good attention to detail
 • Reliability and good timekeeping
 • Good communication and teamwork skills
 • Ability to work independently when required
 • A positive and proactive attitude

Desirable Experience

 • Previous experience as an Engine Assembler, Engine Stripper or Engine Breaker
 • Experience working in an automotive, mechanical or engine production environment
 • Previous warehouse or production experience

Training Provided

 • Site-specific training
 • Health and safety guidance and support
 • Ongoing support throughout your assignment
