People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Electrical Fitter to join our well-established client based in Oldbury.

This role would suit applicants who have worked as a Production Fitter, Electrical Assembler and Assembly Operative.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.00 – £13.50 per hour
• Performance-related bonus
• Overtime opportunities available

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
• Friday :07:30 – 12:30 (Early Finish)

Day-to-Day Duties:

As an Electrical Fitter, you will work:

• Assembling mechanical and electrical components
• Installing hydraulics and other mechanical systems
• Conducting in-line inspections throughout the assembly process
• Using air, electrical and manual tools safely and effectively
• Following engineering drawings and technical instructions
• Supporting quality inspections and mechanical testing activities

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an Electrical Fitter, you will need:

• Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles
• Familiarity with air, electrical and manual tools
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions
• Experience carrying out quality inspections or mechanical testing
• Good attention to detail and a positive work ethic

• Full training provided by the client
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
