CNC Press Brake Operator – Trafford Park, Manchester
People Solutions are currently recruiting for CNC Press Brake Operators to join our well-established client based in Trafford Park, Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, a choice of day or late shifts, weekends off, weekly pay and temporary-to-permanent opportunities for experienced CNC Press Brake Operators.
£15.31–£18.75 Per Hour | Day or Late Shifts | Weekends Off | Weekly Pay | Immediate Starts | Temp-to-Perm Opportunities
This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a CNC Press Brake Operator, Press Brake Setter, CNC Brake Press Operator or Sheet Metal Fabricator with press brake experience.
Shifts
Day Shift:
• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
• Early finish every Friday
Late Shift:
• Monday to Wednesday: 4:00pm – 2:30am
• Thursday: 4:00pm – 1:30pm (please confirm shift time)
• Weekends off
• Additional hours and overtime may be required depending on business needs
Rates of Pay
• Day shift: £15.31 per hour
• Late shift: £18.75 per hour
• Rates dependent on experience
• Weekly pay

Day-to-Day Duties
As a CNC Press Brake Operator, your duties will include:
• Operating CNC Press Brake machinery to manufacture tools, equipment and metal components
• Preparing, setting up and adjusting press brake machinery in line with production requirements
• Setting, loading and operating press brake equipment
• Reading and interpreting engineering and technical drawings
• Measuring and aligning materials accurately before production
• Working with light to medium-gauge stainless steel and mild steel
• Checking finished components against required specifications
• Carrying out quality control checks on your own work and supporting quality standards across the team
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
Essential Skills
To be successful as a CNC Press Brake Operator, you will need:
• Previous experience operating CNC Press Brake machinery
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings
• Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel
• Ability to set up and adjust press brake machinery
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Motivated and reliable approach to working in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work additional hours and overtime when required
Desirable Experience
• Previous experience working within a warehouse, factory or manufacturing environment
Training Provided
• Site-specific training
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
