General Operative – Cumbernauld

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join our well-established client based in Cumbernauld. We have opportunities available on both Day Shift and Back Shift, with immediate starts available.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, full-time Monday to Friday work, and ongoing opportunities within a busy production environment.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Production Operative, Warehouse Operative or Factory Operative.

Rates of Pay:

• Day Shift: £12.71 per hour
• Back Shift: £12.85 per hour
• Overtime: £13.50 per hour
• Weekly pay

Shift Pattern:

• Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00
• Back Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a General Operative are:

• Working within a busy production environment
• Assisting throughout the production process
• Loading and unloading materials
• Moving products safely around the site
• Carrying out quality checks
• Completing general manual handling duties
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy
• Following all Health and Safety procedures
• Working effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a General Operative, you will need:

• Previous production, warehouse, or general operative experience would be advantageous
• Comfortable carrying out manual work
• Have a reliable and punctual approach to work
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• The ability to travel reliably to Cumbernauld for your chosen shift
• Availability to start work immediately
