PPT Driver – Skelmersdale

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a PPT Driver to join our well-established client based in Skelmersdale.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, stable weekday hours, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a PPT Driver, FLT Driver or Forklift Truck Operative.

Rates of Pay:

• Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 11:00 – 19:00

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a PPT Driver are:

• Operating a PPT safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-use inspections and reporting any faults
• Receiving goods into the warehouse and stowing pallets
• Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods
• Unpacking and storing incoming deliveries
• Organising stock ready for dispatch
• Moving goods around the warehouse as required
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a PPT Driver, you will need:

• Proven experience operating a PPT
• Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task
• Strong spatial awareness
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good organisational skills
• A reliable and self-motivated attitude
• Flexibility and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous

Training:

• Full training provided
• Assessment required prior to starting
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
