WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE – BREDBURY, STOCKPORT

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Bredbury, Stockport.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer or Order Picker.

Rates of Pay:

• £14.11 per hour

Shift Pattern:

As a Warehouse Operative, you will work:

• Monday to Sunday, working 5 days out of 7
• Weekend working is essential
• Hours of work between:
• 06:00 – 18:00
• 08:00 – 18:00
• 10:00 – 18:00 (depending on the day)

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Warehouse Operative are:

• Order picking with an 85% pick rate requirement
• Breaking down baskets
• Stock control
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• General housekeeping within the department

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

• A reasonable level of English
• Safety boots and hi-vis vest
• Availability to work weekends
• A minimum of six months’ picking and packing experience
• Own transport or the ability to travel reliably to site

Training:

• Full training provided
• Ongoing development support
