Warehouse Operative – Kirkliston

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our well-established client based in Kirkliston, on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £14.00 per hour, Monday to Friday working hours, ongoing work, free on-site parking, ongoing training and genuine opportunities for career progression within a reputable logistics operation.

Own transport is required due to the location and shift times.

This position would suit candidates with previous experience as a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Order Picker or Warehouse Assistant.

 • Monday to Friday
 • 10:00am – 6:00pm

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

 • Moving stock safely around the warehouse
 • Loading and unloading goods
 • Picking orders accurately
 • Creating pallets ready for onward delivery
 • Completing stock checks and basic documentation
 • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
 • Working closely with colleagues to ensure daily requirements are met

Essential Skills

To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need:

 • Previous experience within a warehouse environment
 • The ability to follow instructions and work safely
 • A reliable and hardworking approach
 • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
 • A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be beneficial but is not essential
 • Own transport due to the location and shift times

 • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
