We have an exciting opportunity for somebody to join our Birmingham City Centre office as a Recruitment Consultant on a full-time permanent basis.

This role will see the successful candidate working within a growing team of consultants specialising in Business Development.

People Solutions specialise in industrial, Commercial and skilled technical roles on a temporary and permanent basis. As a consultant you will be responsible for business development, interviewing candidates and account managing clients, your role will be diverse, and no two days are likely to be the same.

A successful consultant will research their local market, network and connect with Hiring Managers, HR and Procurement contacts. Your objective is to understand their varying recruitment needs through effective questioning and fact-finding, both via the telephone and in person. Once you understand the Hiring Managers requirements, it`s your responsibility to find a selection of the best candidates in the market to present to your client. In order to be successful, a pipeline of potential candidates needs to be sourced. Therefore, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are essential.

The successful candidate should come from a sales or recruitment background, be energetic, resilient, and have an inquisitive nature and strong work ethic.
